Nine Inch Nails frontman/creator Trent Reznor is saying that the band will be done after a few small club dates, including Wednesday evening's performance at the Hollywood Palladium (which included a surprise guest appearance by Gary Numan to sing "Cars"—awesome). Is that the truth? Who knows, but it doesn't much matter at this point, because the most popular industrial group ever, largely responsible for bringing the genre to a mass audience, has done plenty enough.
