To call Of Montreal’s live performance “unpredictable” is both stating the obvious and drastically understating their show. Replete with gaudy costumes and extravagant lighting, the Georgia indie band’s set is as much theatre and spectacle as it is musicality. Vocalist Kevin Barnes has long stood out for his intelligent lyrics, manic energy and Bowie-esque showman's ability. Metromix captured the madness of the band's tour-opening show at Roseland Ballroom in New York.
