26 Beach Restaurant: User Reviews
26 Beach Restaurant

26 Beach is a great any-time spot that attracts Venice/Marina locals as well as beachgoing tourists. They're perhaps best known for their brunch, and they do it right - pasta scrambles, egg dishes and some truly decadent French toast dishes with all sorts of combos of fruit and chocolate and even Reese's Pieces. No matter what meal you choose, you'll be hit with a menu large enough to torture the indecisive. For entrees, you can get steak, seafood, pasta, pizza, burgers... you name it. For lighter appetites, I recommend the ginger salmon salad - a simple but surprisingly satisfying dish. The service is friendly and the outdoor patio area gets bonus points for romantic ambiance.

Once I ate antipasto there, and the pasta was so dry. And the burgers there are the worst burgers ever! If you want to eat a burger, you just skip 26 and go ahead to the first Carls Jr! They have the worst burger buns ever! If you order a burger for a takeout, the bun will steam in a box, and in the end it's gonna taste disgusting. Meat in a burger is too lean, and it has no taste.
It's a really nice place to go to on your date, but let's hope that you're not really hungry!

I have tried about 15 different things here and have thoroughly enjoyed every one! Breakfast is pretty amazing (lots of sweet desserty french toasts made with brioche)-- but lunch is really where it's at for me. Such unique salads and every one is absolutely delicious-- I think the Soy ginger salmon might be my favorite, but i have never been disappointed! Quality ingredients, large portions-- my fav lunch spot in the marina for sure!
