Few dining experiences are as incredible as the one offered by Blue Velvet. The view is amazing, whether you choose to linger at the poolside patio or head straight to your table. The decor is warm and inviting yet sleek and modern. The drinks are amazing, especially the yummy concoction with a peach in it (just tell the bartender, he'll know what you're talking about.) Most importantly, the chef is a genius, from the crispy yogurt and sweet potato ravioli starters to the seared dayboat scallops and Long Island duck—all of which should definitely be topped off with the chocolate roulade.
