This tiny N.Y.-style bistro features a great bar scene with no stress and no attitude. The Bowery's menu mixes a little French brasserie (charcuterie and moules frites) with Anglo bar food (braised short ribs and a namesake burger) in a smart and stylish black-and-white tiled space that looks way nicer than any subway-influenced decor has a right to look.
