The Sofitel L.A. recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation, with part of the new-fangled digs being Simon L.A., a hip take on comfort cuisine. The menu features the typical L.A. fare—seafood and pizza—as well as items that are not so L.A.—meatloaf, onion rings, and a junk food sampler of caramelized popcorn, cotton candy, coconut puffs, rice crispy treats, chocolate cupcakes, donuts and a vanilla milkshake.
