Brunch just doesn't get more decadent than the Griddle Cafe. This place offers everything you could want for breakfast, lunch and more, like the endless celebrity sightings (even Angelina Jolie with Maddox in tow have been spotted noshing here). Sure, you’ll wait an age with a bevy of beautiful and famous-to-somebody faces to secure a table, but when the very cool host finally calls your name, it’s on. The portions here cross the line from man-sized to downright obscene. Decadent mountains of pancake confections with exotic names—the "Black Magic" is filled with crumbled Oreos and topped with whipped cream and more Oreos—will have you feeling like it’s your birthday. The breakfast potato skins are like diner porn—so bad, but oh so good. Go here with someone you like, and follow it with a hike. You’ll need it.
