I just have to say that I love this restaurant. Where you do not always get to hear about it in the shadow of Providence and the Water Grill, I think this place really gives the big boys a run for the money.
Casual ambiance, but upscale cusine is a perfect match for this ocean view beauty. The lobsters are cooked perfectly, and the crab cake has got to be the best in town. I had the opportunity to meet the chef and she was adorable and really humble...this place is a win win in my mind. The desserts were great, especially the strawberry shortcake. I have had many a meal here and not a bad one to date.
Loose the tourist trap attitude about The Lobster, and come and hang out with Santa Monicas fun crowd, in a great atmosphere with great food, and good drinks. My only thing is wine list is a bit pretentious, and I would love to see a better wine by the galss selection, but who is complaining..not me!
