Like most of the restaurants along the Venice boardwalk, the Venice Bistro doesn't serve the best food or boast the best selection of beers and wine. That doesn't matter much when you can watch the sun set on the ocean while nursing a tall, glistening glass of Hefeweizen and work on your tan at the same time. The place gets super crowded; competition is fierce for the outside tables where you can watch the babes and the bums along the boardwalk. During summer, the bistro expands into an adjacent beer garden.
