Gordon Ramsay
Room: London West Hollywood
Chef: Gordon Ramsay lends his mad stardust to the London’s WeHo locale after doing the same at the London NYC. The executive chef will be determined by the winner of this year's "Hell's Kitchen." The position, Ramsay histrionically claims, is "worth a quarter of a million dollars."
Projected check-in: April 2008
Previews: We hear that the menu will be different from Gordon Ramsay NYC, with an Asian influence. It will also be more calorically accessible, meaning an emphasis on light lunches and small plates. Ramsay will also oversee the lobby bar/lounge Midnight on Sunset.

José Andrés
Room: SLS Los Angeles
Chef: José Andrés, Washington D.C.’s wizard of molecular gastronomy, has been tapped to oversee the food and beverage program—including a restaurant and lounge—when the former Le Meridien Beverly Hills transforms into the first hotel from the SBE Group. Expect a whole new world of strange but delicious culinary innovations.
Projected check-in: Summer 2008
Previews: Rather than a lobby, the hotel will have the Bazaar, a “fête extraordinaire” of innovative dining and lounge options. Poolside and private cabana service will also be available.
