Rumor has it that Sahag, the original founder and owner of Sahag's Basturma" in Hollywood, CA is opening another store in Pasadena, Ca called "House of Basturma." Early February is the grand opening of the store. I'm excited to eat the basturma, maanek, and soujouk that was once present at every occasion at my Armenian friend Armen's house. Get your taste buds ready!

I am a regular at Sahag's Basturma and there is no Lamb sandwiches. You are probably referring to the Soujouk Sausage (beef) or the maaneg sausage (veal) and of course the basturma sandwich. Both are superb full of flavor. Once you have one you will keep coming back. Enjoy.
