Meltdown: Aptly named, considering the state of affairs between producers and writers, this relatively new restaurant specializes in grilled cheese as well as a bevy of grilled desserts. While we recommend eating your melty selection as soon as you get it, the swift and eventual coagulation of cheese creates an ideal projectile to hurl at those dirty-rascally scabs.

Conservatory for Coffee: Think of this place as Starbucks meets "Citizen Kane." The Conservatory does what the other coffee chains can't do: roast their own beans right on the premises. Culver City locals and those in the know (read: smart writer-types) flock to this delightfully anti-chain coffeehouse for their daily strike-friendly fix. Baristas add a special touch by creating cute designs on top of your cappuccino—they probably even mastered a foamy WGA sign by now.

Tito’s Tacos: The hottest tacos on the Westside, and perfect for the disgruntled, picket-wielding scriptwriter. The line at Tito's window rivals only that of Pink's or a WGA strike queue, but have no fear—these tacos are worth the wait. Since you're planning to spend your day in line, you might as well have a greasy tortilla in the palm of your hand to show for it.
