Papoo’s Hot Dog Show: This old-timey Burbank favorite opens early for breakfast, but it's the regional hot dog specials—nature's perfect strike food—that's been democratically keeping studio lords and laborers happy for over half a century. And like any Hollywood wannabe, Papoo's has even made a film cameo, in the sci-fi classic "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." (It can also cry on cue.)

Bob’s Big Boy:
A staple of many a Southern California childhood, Bob's Big Boy has been satisfying burger-and-fries needs for almost 60 years. The restaurant stays open all day and all night, serving one-hand-friendly burgers. Now that your evenings and weekends are free: It also offers carhop service on weekends, and the parking lot turns into a classic car show on Friday nights.

Screen Actors Grill: Can't bear to break away from the strikers' line to get some grub? Let the food come to you: Toluca Lake catering company "Screen Actors Grill" will deliver 50 Mini Angus Burgers for just $75. That should be enough to hold you over 'til the next strike, which we project will commence in 2027 over competitive wages for cyborg actors.
