Solid Spot For Breakfast & Brunch

The Brick House is a little tucked away from the big draws in Venice, but very close to Abbot Kinney. This gives it a nice locals-and-loyals vibe. Some people are fanatical about the food; I just say it's good. The wheel isn't being reinvented - it's a solid spot for a late breakfast or lunch (probably early breakfast, too, but I wouldn't know about that). If you go during peak hours on the weekend, be prepared to wait. Since it's crowded and tiny, the din of collective conversation can get somewhat distracting. Limited patio seating is also available, but beware the Kings of Leon (or similar species) being cranked from the patio speakers.
