Located in central Echo Park this quiet cafe serves up jalapeño croissants, empanadas, divine pastries as well as salads and sandwiches made by Homeboy and Homegirl Industries (the organization which helps former gang-involved youth get back on their feet). When evening comes the intimate neighborhood haven gets live hosting local bands, community art shows, movie nights and arts and craft nights—if you're lucky from time to time the cafe offers $1 chocolate dipped strawberries before closing. Yeah, we're all about it too.
