Don't go if you don't have U.S. ID

Our friends were visiting from another country and they wanted to get a beer & a burger at Father's Office in Culver City. We were surprised & EXTREMELY disappointed that the 'doorman' refused to let them in because the Brazilian ID's they had were NOT acceptable as proof of age (both were over 21 of course!). Our friends had never experienced anything like this at a bar. What kind of ridiculous policy is this??? So just a warning for those of you who may have friends from other countries visiting the U.S...don't bother going. The burgers are over-rated anyway.

5pm at fathers office 2 food prices one glass of wine, designer beer, salad, burger,. ribs, 72.00 what !!! and no table service . You order from the bar and try to find a table its 5pm and already people are holding tables for friends pissed me off hard to find a seat . . food comes. Burger was a dense packed combination of tasteless meat looked like spam not appetizing . small spot of blue cheese and gritty arugula !what do people (reviewers) see in this place . ribs were smother in a sticky Asian type sauce hiding merger pieces of meat that were overcooked . salad was lettuce and beets nothing great , the glass of 15.00 wine was sent back bad !! . as were the ribs . manager was not computer savvy billed my card 4 times , was trying to credit my card for the bad items . The employees were the new type of servers restaurants seem to hiring . white ,blond, arrogant, snobby , aloof . and the token black server to make everything pc. beer was good . you can tell the bar will do good. beer only wine was to pricey for the what was being served, food not memorable as reviewers dreams . you can tell by what the patrons (young techie Culver city type ) go to gulf stream (houston chain) for a great burger and ribs out of this world . OHH ! and there you will pay the same but you get service with a smile!! you will leave happy..
