I have had the pleasure of eating a basix a few times now, and each time has been consistently excellent. Parking can be tough on SMB, but there is a valet behind the restaurant. The seating has always been prompt, despite the fact that there always are a lot of people there. The meals are moderately priced (no entree over $20), and include bread. The food is served fast and is very tasty. The soups are delicious as are the salads. I love the steak which is served with broccoli, mashed potatoes and pesto. The apple pie for dessert is the best in west hollywood!
