The Standard Hotel is surely not as hot as when it first opened and burly bouncers held guard at its entrance to intimidate the not-so-glamorous people from coming in. Nowadays more preppies appear to be populating the boutique hotel, but its restaurant still attracts hipsters who don't have day jobs but can afford to linger all day and night in this sparkling clean, upscale diner.
