Prospect Plaza in San Gabriel looks like an average strip mall, but the culinary wonders held within are far beyond average. On of the plaza’s standouts is J&J, a paper-cup kind of place specializing in Shanghai-style cuisine (though they offer other regional specialties as well). Noodle dishes are quite popular, but the prized menu item is xiao long bao, steamed dumplings filled with broth and crab or pork.
