Chef Neal Fraser’s endlessly popular restaurant Grace takes contemporary American fine dining to a blissful level. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings guests can enjoy many courses of Fraser’s most inspired cooking with his “Close to Home” tasting menu. The concept is that all the food used for this five-course menu originates no more than 400 miles from Los Angeles. Naturally, most of the produce comes from nearby areas. The seafood is generally from coastal areas such as Santa Barbara and Monterey, and much of the red meat and cheeses is from the greater San Francisco Bay area. The menu changes often, but it darn near always sounds perfect.
