Before mojitos were cool, there was El Floridita. This Cuban restaurant/club doesn't look like much from the outside, but open the doors and you'll find one of L.A.'s most outstanding salsa dancing scenes. The intimate atmosphere keeps you close to the action on the dance floor while you gobble down garlicky chicken, tostones and black beans. Live entertainment nights jack up the restaurant’s usually reasonably priced entrees from $12 to about $25, but it’s well worth it.
