It’s green corn tamale season at El Cholo.  Starting May 1 and lasting through October, the sweet tamales verdes will be available at all El Cholo locations.  It’s a tradition that dates back 85 years to the restaurant’s founders.  And in honor of the 85^th anniversary of the restaurant, mariachis have returned to El Cholo.  They’ll be serenading guests every Thursday 6 pm-9 pm.
