On Monday evenings, JiRaffe let's it hang a little looser with a three-course prix-fixe menu prepared by chef de cuisine Chris Minutoli. Candle lamps and paper tablecloths replace the stiff white linens. Carafes of wine at reduced prices replace expensive bottles of vino. A recent night's menu offered a choice of entree between the pan-roasted Atlantic salmon with savoy cabbage or the crispy pecan duck leg confit with vegetable couscous. Dessert was lemon cheesecake with pepper shortbread crust. All this for no more than you would pay for an average meal at a Parisian bistro.
