Valentino, the classic Santa Monica Italian restaurant, is approaching its 35th birthday, and as with many Los Angeles classics, it’s getting a facelift. The remodeling has taken all summer, and on Monday nights the restaurant hosts a special sneak preview for guests. A tour of the new wine bar addition is included in the evening. The seven-course tasting menu dinner is at a fixed price of $100, and corkage fees are waived.
