Medusa Lounge has sensous temperament that exposes the mythology and art of the classic heroes of myths and legends. The crowd is a mix of the under and over 25s, costumed in a female rage or a cheap shiny fabric from the dowtown fashion district. The 8:00 pm. slot plays commercial radio and the 10:00 p.m. DJ definitely NEEDS to be stoned for playing such horrible, eye and ear popping tunes. The music sure needs revamping and re-spinning if this place stands a fair chance of making it as one of the best of LA. The bar service is poor. The food, on the other hand, is as good, if not better than most "pricey wanna be A-List Hollywood clubs" the east side of town. With the valet parking fee of $5.00, who would want to walk in those cheap 4 inch heels after a couple of LIITs (long island ice tea). Overall, Medussa Lounge is a cool place to get your grooves on. Did I mention that the Mitch, the event coordinator and the guy at the door are adorable - with no attitude... This alone is good enough reason to at least check the place out! Party on!!!!

i was a little nervous about the Medusa Lounge because of the area it is located. I looked at their website and thought that it might be photo edited... but when I got there I was amazed. Honestly the photos don't do the place justice. The service was great and friendly. The food was FANTASTIC. The cost of food went well with the quality of the food. I only had one drink from the bar but it was well prepared. I would definitely recommend to any non-believers to stop by and enjoy the experience.
