One of the premier Asian bakeries in LA, Red Ribbon is a Philippines-based chain with several locations around LA (and elsewhere in the country). Their claims to fame are their light, fluffy cakes that are less sweet than other chain store cakes. Popular flavors include mango, ube, and other Filipino classics, but of course chocolate and other, more western varieties are available as well. These cakes can be found at many a birthday celebration at Barrio Fiesta. In addition to the cakes, there are a plethora of sweet and savory pastries to choose from.
