The French 75 gun was not only instrumental in the World War I Allied victory. According to legend, it was also crucial to the invention of the French 75 cocktail, a mixture of champagne and cognac that soldiers used to mix in the spent shell casings that littered the trenches. Luckily, Southern Californians don't have to go to war to make an advance into French territory, thanks to this relaxed, Parisian-style bistro.
