It's a good thing there's a glass case separating customers from the frosty metal trays of artisanal gelato at this high-end ice cream boutique. Without a barrier, one can easily imagine losing all civilized control, succumbing to the impulse to grab cold, heavy fistfuls of creamy chocolate, Nutella, nougat, and saffron gelatos, and smother oneself in the face until subdued by the owners (one of which is Gail Silverton, the sister of Campanile's Nancy Silverton.) As such, one may enjoy their pricey but delicious confections with class on the mellow, piazza-style indoor patio, complete with a running fountain, and cheery, Euro-styled antique decor.
