The food here is pretty darn good for a tiki-themed restaurant (which tend to put more emphasis on the secret mai tai recipes than on the food). The pupu platter is pretty good, and includes some downright delicious crab cakes. The disparate crowd—wannabe MTV reality stars, Don Johnson look-alikes, beach bunnies, salty grandmas in Bedazzled hats—makes for a cheerful vibe. Plus, the servers wear sarongs, and the live band plays all the vacationy standards, including "Tequila."
