Generally speaking, one does not come here for the food. The real draw here is still the elaborate, institutionally insane tiki decor. This large tropical wonderland has bamboo thatching all over the place, huge wooden fish on the walls and carved totems glaring at interlopers (especially the haole ones) from the corners, plus torches and fairy lights for (romantic?) ambience. And how could we overlook the indoor waterfall? There's really no better setting for enjoying a pupu platter and a mai tai—or three.
