Charlie Temmel Ice Cream
Charlie Temmel is the name in Austrian ice cream, and local lore has it that Mr. Temmel was coaxed to open a store in the Los Angeles area by Arnold Schwarzenegger, a fan of his frozen confections. The ice cream shop found a niche immediately on the Venice boardwalk, where beach-goers appreciatively step out of the sun into the clean and cool tiled interior and indulge in a cup or cone.
