Whether you’re a lover or a detractor—and Capri seems to get a fair share of both—the crisp, all-white dining room is undeniably one of the loveliest spots in Venice. Renditions of spaghetti alla checca and tuna with French lentils are more Italiana by way of California than via Mediterranean isle. But food may hardly be the point in the romantic, church-mouse-quiet setting. Nightly attendance tends to be sparse; don’t be too surprised to get most of the room to yourself.
