From their magnificent buratta to "Mama's" home-made pastas and sauces, the amazing deserts, this is simply the best Italian food in Los Angeles (and perhaps in N. America!). La Buca is about to expand to a beautiful space next door which will have 2 levels of dining including an open air upstairs with a wood-burning fireplace. This warm and friendly Hancock Park neighborhood is worth the drive from anywhere in the Los Angeles area. reservations are a must ... even at lunch. Try La Buca. You will keep coming back. I did.
