Via Veneto is the kind of small, intimate, romantic place that cultivates a cult following, especially among well-heeled Westside patrons who can afford to eat there often. It doesn't aspire to be the hottest table in town—well, at least not anymore. Instead, the restaurant relies on repeat business, pleasing longtime customers with reliably well-made Italian cuisine such as pumpkin ravioli with sage butter sauce, T-bone steak with rosemary rub, and risotto with porcini mushrooms. Just don't go expecting a bargain.
