If you’re like us, the current economic situation makes dining outside the confines of your own kitchen a bit financially daunting, and it makes a summer splurge near impossible. Luckily, Nobu recognizes that while we can’t throw down quite like we used to, we remain, nonetheless, hungry. The sceney Japanese joint’s West Hollywood location is offering a “Recovery” menu in the lounge area, which includes pricey sounding fare like rock shrimp tempura, panko encrusted scallops, foie gras on crispy soba noodles, and miso marinated shrimp for around $10. The menu also includes discounted cocktails ($6) and wine ($7), for the cost-effective drowning of those recession-related woes.
