It's been a while since I've found a place worthy of a five star review but by golly gee willickers - this place deserved every single one of them.
We ordered the Galbee and it came with plenty of food and soju for two hungry grown-ups and one heffette (me). It included sliced beef, marinated galbi, intestines and the most awesomely thick pork belly slices I've ever had the pleasure of drooling over at a Korean barbecue. But... intestines? What a waste of stomach space! As a carnivore - I want meat, dammit! We subbed the intestines for more sliced beef instead and they accommodated our request without a single death stare.
Beautifully sliced, fine cuts of beef arrived at our table and we got to sit around and blab at each other while our Korean-mom waitress lovingly cooked for us. I wanted to hug her and pinch her cheeks!
Everything tasted juicy and absolutely delicious. Banchan replaced promptly on request. The diced, crunchy cucumber was my favorite.

Gyenari has great food and drinks. The happy hour time is a perfect time to go and have a good time with friends. The Sparkling Lychee Martini is oh so good!

Well for this to be my first exposure to traditional korean food, i would have to truly say that i was spoiled. This place was excellent, had a private reserved banquet area for me and my fellow co-workers. The food was great........... Definitely a spot to take a date..

This is my favorite Korean BBQ place in LA. Every time i come here it just gets better. The food is excellent the aesthetics are excellent and the bar is great. If you're in the area make sure to grab some dinner here.

I miss the dessert i tried at this place, absolutely incredible. Let me start out with the beginning of the night. We were seated fairly quickly as well as our drink orders. We ordered dinner which was incredible, we decided to go with the bbq you grill yourself, but they had more of a selection for those who dont want to eat a big meal, even burgers! The service was on top of everything, drinks constantly refillled! i love when that happens! Moving onto dessert, we had green tea donuts in this pink sauce, i dont even know what it was, but it was awesome! The ambience , the service, to the food were all great. I can definitely go back to this place!

I really like this place. I am new to the Korean cuisine but I had such an inviting time while i was there. They told me about their appetizers, specialized items on the menu, and entrees that I would like the most. They also provided the best service in making sure you are comfortable with the food and the atmosphere. The lighting is dimmed with contemporary aspects attracting you to the bar, the springs, and the conference rooms. Also, the parking is very good. If you can't find a vacant meter, parking in the garage will only run you a max of $3.

I was a little skeptical about this swanky Korean restaurant. I didn't expect it to have the traditional flavors, but I ate there last night and they blew me away!! One of the best Korean restaurants I have been to. Everything is fresh, especially the Kim-chi (which surprised me). You cook the meat and everything at your table. The service was amazing...all the waiters were extremely nice! The ambiance is great...really nice inside. Definitely a great place to lounge for drinks and great food! I highly suggest this place for great Korean food!!!
