This very small, very niched restaurant is not English friendly. But for those willing to venture a taste, heart-warming comfort food awaits. The official, Korean name of the restaurant references suh-lung-tang, the enriched bone marrow broth filled with slices of beef and bean vermicelli. But the truly unique item on the menu is barbecue pork belly, or samgyeopsal, cooked at the table on domed grills. Yes, it sounds like what you could get at any other Korean barbecues, but here, the order includes extra servings of kimchi and broth which are added beneath the dome. The flavorful fat renderings run into the combination, cooking an extra portion of spicy kimchi stew.
