Cocoa-colored walls, vases of fresh flowers and a staff of beautiful people adorn this quaint Mediterranean/ vegetarian restaurant, which offers up dishes like Greek pastitsio lasagna with garbanzo bean filling, flaky oven-baked tarts filled with organic cheeses and mushrooms, and delicious, hearty salads dusted with hemp seeds. Even the water—infused with cucumber and lemon—is tasty. Owned and staffed by members of the adored Silverlake indie band Viva K, Elf is a great nook to tote a bottle of wine and get cozy over some organic eats.
