Founded in 1973, El Conquistador draws hoards of Silverlake party people every night of the week - and rightly so. This Sunset Junction hot spot smacks of celebration - with its blue, yellow, and pink textured walls, overabundance of mosaic tiles, and festive swaths of fabric adorning the ceilings. The two bars serve killer margaritas, but patrons can soak up the alcohol with free chips and appetizers during the Monday through Thursday happy hours. Viva la fiesta!
