Panama Joe's: User Reviews

Panama Joe's in Long Beach should warn their customers prior to accepting a credit card to open up a tab that their neat little computer system will authorize the card for $50 every ten minutes to the point it signals the fraud department at the customer's bank to suspend the account and the customer ends up looking like a tool in front of his friends when his credit card is declined.

Oh! and their neat little computer system continues to charge the card up to four hours after the customer has paid the bill and left.

So, if you're a fan of the bad food and even worse service at Panama Joe's, take cash or a bunch of credit cards.

To PJ's credit, when I brought up the issue to management that ultimately ended in me not having access to my bank account on a holiday weekend, management did extend a sincere apology. They couldn't have cared less. I can't wait to go back.
