This may be the most famous institution in East L.A. The menu isn’t wide-ranging and exotic, but what they do, they do well. Incredibly well. People make pilgrimages here to partake of the shrimp tacos, fish tacos, seafood burritos and various ceviches made with fish, shrimp, clams, scallops or octopus. There are a few red meat options for those feeling unadventurous, but to come here and not order seafood would be ridiculous. It’s cash only, but the prices are low.
