Brasserie, just 'like that'
October 3, 2007
It was the trend before it was a trend. We heard "brasserie" fall from multiple lips as L.A.'s celebrated chef-restauranteurs—Alain Giraud, Michael Cimarusti—scoped out their next new restaurant. But Sona's David Myers is officially (and finally!) the first one out with Comme Ca's launch party last night. The inspiration is Parisian by way of New York's Balthazar, but we know that chef Myers will provide a unique West Coast perspective of his own. Moules frites, tartare, eggs en cocotte? We can't wait for our first brunch/lunch/dinner there.
