Good thing they weren't shilling any alcohol

The eve of the autumnal equinox brought out the city's charitable food-lovers—and those who couldn't care less about the Emmys—to Savor the Season. This year's event, held at Downtown's Vibiana, once again benefited Break the Cycle, an organization dedicated to ending domestic and dating violence. The refined bacchanal featured food and libations from L.A.'s darlings like the Edison and Andre Guerrero of Max and the Oinkster as well as all sorts of gourmet sundries such as tastings of salts, cheese and caviar (yes, we said caviar). And unlike most Emmy attendees on Sunday night, we had a blast—and didn't have to worry about our figure.
