It may just be the stark walls and bright lighting, but Joan's appears nearly triple in size now. While we appreciate the welcoming staff and extra elbow room—seriously, old Joan's used to be like engaging in a scrum—the food-emporium feel just can't compete with Little Next Door's rustic, cobalt-blue charm. Give this one to LND.
