Clear vinyl makes sexy lounge furnishings

One of the best new restaurants of 2007, Fraiche now hosts a DJ late every Thursday night, giving us yet another reason to chillax in the inviting room with the tastiest, most belly-comforting dishes in the city.

The music is electro-lounge; the food a well-edited bar menu of moules frites, sliders, fondue and charcuterie; and on our visit, the patio is packed despite winter's chill. But the real attraction lies in mad scientist-bar chef-mixologist Albert Trummer who throws down one spectacular, pyro-porntastic show—and makes a mean cold-staving elixir to boot.
