True awakening would be easier to find than this unmarked space along one of the sleepiest parts of Wilshire Blvd. Once inside, three progressive hearths—and plenty of Buddhas and Hindi iconography—mark your journey to a higher state, otherwise known as the bar. While there's a fireplace in the front patio, the one in the innermost sanctum is furnished with canopied beds. Yes, they are gimmicky, but those beds may stage the most action you get all night.
