The Porco

@ Bollini's Pizzeria Napolitana
We’re on record proclaiming that Bollini’s has the “most flavorful, hands-down redonk pie in town”—and we stand by it. Just about everything is magic. (Hey, we even enjoyed pineapple as a topping for once!) But it’s the Porco that’s simply a masterpiece of bacon, sweet fennel sausage and three-pepper sausage—a triple threat of porkiness set against the crackliest, smokiest, nummiest crust we ever did meet. Only Bollini’s location in Monterey Park prevented us from reverting to eating pizza three-square. That is, until we recently discovered how beautifully the slices keep in our freezer. Defrost in microwave, bake for 10-12 minutes at 400 degrees in the toaster oven. Buh-bye, DiGiorno.
