Best bang for your buck—Teuscher
While we can't give much credence to the kinetic power of aphrodisiacs, we have to admit we've gotten our groove on over chocolates and champagne more than once. But chocolates stuffed with champagne? Well, that's a physic conjured by the horny devil himself.
The notorious sweets from Teuscher of Switzerland (of Beverly Hills) are rich dark chocolate truffles filled with a crème of French champagne (Dom Perignon, naturellement). For Valentine's, they are available in seven collections, each in a successively larger red velvet heart that's ostentatiously adorned with a corsage of handmade silk roses. For the financially challenged, Teuscher also offers a twee candy-red carton. It's just a pair of the champagne truffles, but two's all you'll need.
Buy me love: $6.95 for the two-piece carton; heart-shaped boxes range from $29.95 for six up to $205.95 for 69 pieces of double-entendre.
