Laurel Taven has been a bar for quite some time, but this incarnation in probably the first "concept." A pub with 10 beers on tap (and nothing in a bottle), all curated by the Beer Chick, a blogging beer enthusiast. The food menu includes hearty choices like cheeseburgers and French fries that aren't just fried, but also drizzled with pork fat. Mmm, coronary-licious!
