If there's ever a time to savor the best of the hog, it's now. Head to your friendly neighborhood German market; we went with Schreiner's Fine Sausages in Glendale. While not necessarily in our nabe, they were certainly friendly—which seems to be a rarity among the few German establishments in L.A.
